Eliot Joy lives in Minneapolis, MN, where they've studied various modalities of healing arts, from the CPMC to shiatsu bodywork therapy. They are an active member of the Hearing Voices Network, which first lit their interest in peer support and alternatives to institutional interventions. The community they've built through social support lead them to CPMC. Eliot has personal experience with a variety of mental health challenges, as well as sensory processing issues, LGBTQ issues, chronic pain, and chronic illness. These experiences serve to inform their work supporting others to develop and fortify their relationship with their own inner wisdoms and strengths.
