I am a person with lived experience in long-term recovery since 2001. As a former special education teacher for ten years, I have learned from evidence-based research for students with special needs. Now that I work with adults, I am delighted to help individuals transition while they are in recovery. Working as a Personal Medicine Coach will allow me to utilize more strategies for meeting individuals where they are and using the Personal Medicine Guides. I love the language used in personal medicine because it is keeping in line with the person's dignity and honoring choice while working on challenges that meet the fidelity standards. The gentler softer way has the power to empower in a constructive non-judgmental way that can lead to positive change.
