I work in peer support as the manager of a peer center in Mid-Maine. My first experience with peer support was during college, when a classmate and I started the first peer support group for students living with mental health challenges. My work history also includes several years working in churches, where I was able to walk alongside people in highs and lows. I decided to become a CPMC, so that I could learn another tool to pass on to peers. You can learn more about the Waterville Peer Recovery Center at https://www.namimaine.org/peercenter.
