My name is Harold Harris, currently, a Certified Peer Support Specialist, WRAP and Revive facilitator.
I'm enjoying my services at Fairfax Community Service Board. I work with a great group of nurturing clinicians; Substance Abuse Outreach Monitoring & Engagement (SOME) and Residential Treatment Support Services (RTS).
I worked for an Elementary Association for 22 years and moved up the ladder to a Resource Center, Director. I started working at this job when I was 2 years sober, today I have 30 years!!!
In 2015 my career took another turn, I pursued another one of my passions, teaching tennis. I'm a tennis fanatic, I continue to teach and play at least 4 times a week.
Another passion of mine surfaced, I enjoy helping others so some of my friends suggest I become a peer support specialist. So the journey continues....
Becoming a Certified Personal Medicine Coach falls in line with my beliefs; non-judgmental, meeting people where they at, and actively listening. I've been told that listening is one of my greatest character assets. If I can coach one person to realize their awesome potential, I will be content.
