I have always been sensitive to pain and struggle of myself and others, and so it is no surprise that my path has lead me to seek paths to healing. While battling my own depression and anxiety, I obtained my Master's in Psychology at the University at Buffalo. I found my way to the Academy of Peer Services, where I was finally introduced to the concept of recovery and linked in to the "conspiracy of hope." I now work as a peer supervisor at Restoration Society, where I help inspire other peers to enter this rewarding field and share hope with others. I have come to Personal Medicine to help myself and others to move beyond coping and into healing.
