Copyright Infringement Policy

Pat Deegan, PhD. & Associates, LLC (“PDA”) is concerned about protecting the copyright and other intellectual property rights of others. You may notify PDA by providing the following information to our designated agent, as required by 17 U.S.C. 512, if you believe you have a copyright infringement claim resulting from material posted on this website:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the owner, or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list of the copyrighted works, claimed to have been infringed;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material;
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact the complaining party, including an address, telephone number, and if available, an electronic mail address;
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under the penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is the owner, or is authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
