My Name is Robin Hubert. I have been the Executive Director of On Our Own of Roanoke Valley since July 2001. I became a Certified Peer Support Specialist in 2007 through the Appalachian Consulting Group in Georgia and a trainer and Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health Program and have been facilitated 16 trainings since 2012.

Thanks to my own recovery, I have been passionate about sharing the hope and possibility of recovery over these years on a personal level, at conferences and forums in Buffalo, New York, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and all around Virginia.
