I've worked in group homes for over 8 years and transitioned to a psychiatric rehab worker just over a year ago. I love my job and what I do. I'm 32 and have two children one of which is diagnosed with mental health challenges and I want to show him that he is more than his diagnosis and there is nothing he can't achieve if he sets his mind to it.
