My name is Victor Clark and I have worked for the past five years for Mental Health Empowerment Project, Inc. (MHEP) as a Program Manager. I am a Peer who is constantly working on challenging myself to be a better person while reaching back to help others do the same.

I have been working in the field of Mental Health, professionally and as a Peer for over 30 years. I have a MS in Special Education and a MA in Sociology. I am also a Certified Peer Forensic Specialist and serve on the Westchester County Correctional Advisory Board.

What called me to become a CPMC? Looking for a better way to be a supportive peer. Experiencing so much hostility, stigma's, racism, and anger, etc., in my life time that I am always searching for a better way to effectively maintain my sanity as well the sanity of others. JoHann Wolfgang Goethe said, "If you treat an individual as they are, they will remain as they are; but if you treat them as if they were what they ought to be and could be, they will become what they could be and ought to be." Have a Good Day, Unless You Have Other Plans...
